Heavy Armour At Start Of Map?

I am trying to make a map where the marines have a long trek to the CC and start out with welders, HA and a small assortment of weapons. There would be armories protected by weldables on route, so they can re-arm and get health.

This would need tweaking, but should be a "fun" map and a bit of a change.

HOWEVER

I tried dropping the heavy armour entity, but it doesn't appear in game, and the buildings appear unbuilt (although this isn't too bad, but would be better if they could be dropped built)

Anyone know how to get heavy armour to be pickupable from the editor?

    good question...

    Only the CC and armory seems to be able to be pre-built.

    Turret Facs can be - in my version of the FGD anyway.

    I've seen a map where after a certain amount of time a PG will spawn in.

    What was the point of showing him the guidelines? Unless you join ns_siege servers and scream "FFS NOT UP TO TEH GIDELOINES!!!!!".

    Anyway, you can have any building pre-built. Just drop the appropriate team_ entity... exception being hives, of course.

    I am fully aware of the guidlines but am not making an offical map so it doesn't really matter. I want to make a FUN map! A bit of a change from the normal NS.

    Anyone know how to get weapons/armour to appear at the start? There is the lifetime option, but I set it to 0 for infinite which one would think would work...

    The items are in the .fcg now, so they are surely meant to be used? Or were all items added but only the armory etc supported properly?

    Maybe this should be in the other forum, can I move it or does a moderator have to do it?

    Help would be much appreicated !

    (I will try the starts built flag when I get home, didn't notice there was one!)
