<div class="IPBDescription">Help plz?</div> I need to find a program that will allow me to delete a file when I boot my computer up after a restart. I've got a file stuck on my desktop that my computer won't let me delete or move and it is bugging the hell out of me.

Look under processes and see if you can find the file on it. Then stop the process.

you should probably run a virus checker then.

    1) It's not a virus or spyware, but I have no idea why it wont get off my friggin desktop
    2) It isn't running nor are any programs using it. It's actually a .exe installer for a another program (one I have uninstalled)

As Zel said, when your computer is starting up (just before it starts loading Windows), press F8 a few times (I don't know what OS you're running, so it might be different) and select 'safe mode'. You will most likely be able to delete the bugger then.

    EDIT: Typo.
