<div class="IPBDescription">pub play requires sportsmanship</div> If you want pub play to be fun for everyone (as a game should be), there are certain principles that need to be adhered to.

First, to the newbies: it is your responsibility to learn how to play the game. You can learn the basics on your own by starting a local server, and just seeing what stuff does. This is incredibly important if you ever want to command. Some thing your teammates simply do not have time to teach you in-game.

Beyond the basics, you are responsible for being useful to the team. If you aren't sure how to do that, ask a teammate (or the forums).

Now, to the experianced players: Just because you can completely dominated the newbies, or even the mediocre players, doesn't mean that you should. If you're making the game a trial for another player, rather than an enjoying experiance, you're going about pub play all wrong. If you can singlehandedly destroy a hive with a JP/GL, how about you show that you can do it without? Completely dominated matches are not fun for either team. You can save your best play for competitive matches or PUGs.

Above all, everyone just needs to be a good sport. Play like you're not anonymous. Don't do anything you wouldn't do playing on LAN with your buds, giving your online teammates the same respect.
