<div class="IPBDescription">Ideas about making a good AK-47 model</div> After doing some searches on AK-47 models for NS, and people trying to skin them and find various sounds and such, it got me thinking. Is it possible to make an AK-47 almost exactly (with the exception of the poly limit) to scale ingame as it was the real life? (... I saw some really messed up copies out there, like the CS version, which by the way, has so many flaws in the model its rediculous)
Obviously, the problem with this is your going to need 5 things to make it as close to scale as possible.
1) The sound of an AK-47 firing
2) The sound of an AK-47 loading
3) An AK-47 to measure
4) a ruler
5) a protractor
The good news is, you can probably find the sound (or as close as you can) of an AK-47 firing on the net, or, if you have a shooting range near you, record a 7.62 x 39 being fired.
The even better news is this. I happen to have a scale replica of an AK-47 ^_^, except it doesn't fire bullets <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> (which is why the sound of it firing I can't help with). But, if anyone wants to give me a hand learning how to make models, and help with the design of it, I can provide the AK-47 loading and recharging sounds, not to mention the measurements since mine is 1:1 scale.
... and I also have a ruler and protactor, but the AK is a bit more feirce looking than them. lol.
Let me know if anyone wants to help work on this. I haven't done modeling work for a while so I'm gonna have to reaquint myself ... but hey, once I'm back up to speed perhaps it'll turn out to be one nasty lookin AK <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

2. Im 14, these are my dads guns. We use them all the time at the nearby range. The enfield is mine though, i got it as an x-mas gift from my gramps.
