i just had a nice game as marine that weldable door is really well done, i like how you have to weld 2 things to open it, one easy and one hard one
great balanced gameplay and extra thumbs up for the vents as well <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
i just can't get enough of this map <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
superb, i just played it 10 v 20. Many people thought it was the best map they had ever played. i do have one small beef with it, the marine start is a death trap for a skulk, especially once some one kills the armory. other than that i like it hugemongously.
I especially love the cogs; reminds me of Beamish Museum here in England <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
my lighting never quite turns out the way i would like it <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
can you post your rad, and env_gamma settings you use?
wow. Outstanding work. The light, the architecture, the texturing, it's all top notch work.
And you've chossen some original sounds as well.
Only thing worth criticizing is the pipe in the Marine Start. As it's not connected properly to the wall. But that's nitpicking. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I remember looking at some screens of this map a while back, and thinking how cool it looked. Nice to see you got it done <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Just got back from a few very interesting rounds. I love the spinny thing and the elevators <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> Moving parts pwn me.
On the g4b2s server there were roughly 28 people playing over 3 rounds. The first went quite normally where marines just pushed the alien hive and won it in 5-10 minutes, the second the marines steamrolled the aliens and won within minutes, and the 3rd was a 30 minute stalemate (20 minutes of which was spent outside the MS). When I finally broke out and opened the weldable it seemed to be a much bigger favour to the aliens than to the marines as they suddenly could get back to our spawn so much quicker. Also, the 2 glass floor pieces eventually broke, and whenever heavies spawned above them they immediately fell down the hole and died from falling damage (however jetpacks would survive and could then fly back up). Strangely enough with most people having to respawn twice before landing somewhere safe the game was still extended out for ages due to having 14 marines (about 8 or 9 HA/HMG) being able to camp at the armoury and fire at the single door leading out. Combined with 1 GL spammer and a couple of jp/shotty camping the vent entrance we had a nearly impenetrable defense... I'm not quite sure how we lost that in the end, but they did eventually overrun us.
Very nice. Keep up the good work...more I say! <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

played the map today for the first time and must say, the thing is awesome. I read where people said rines won quickly, but I saw an evenly matched game for 30-40 minutes and eventually the marines won. Good job on the textures and mapping in general, def one of my fav combat maps.

Who knew Drunken Monkey's could map so well. I tried to get my monkey to map and he just looked at me funny. How'd you get your monkey drunk? Maybe that'll help me.
