is it possible to have vehicles in ns? like hover crafts, ships, cars, etc.....? because i think thats what ns is missing ^_^ bigger maps and much more transportation! ^_________^

I dont know if you've ever tried vehicles in half life but theyre generally horrible, get stuck in everything... it just doesnt work... Either wait for something to happen with HL2 or play BF1942.

Ruby said it right. Not to mention, big open areas in half life SUCK **** looks wise. Its not possible to make it look good- people have tried, believe me. Not to mention, as said, the vehicles wouldn't perform too well without some INSANELY good coding(which can be expected of Flay, but he doesn't want vehicles they say, so be ok with it)

The only thing I can think of though is Gunman Cronicles that had a working tank in it. And if I recall it was rather good. But that may have used the same trick.

THERE ARE NO VEHICLES IN HL - DO NOT SAY VEHICLES DON'T WORK WELL
If you want vehicles in a mod you have to program them by yourself. And some people are unable to do this well. But an experienced HL programmer can do very nice vehicles.
Yep, it's true. Vehicles just don't work. The only vehicles in half-life were tanks and trains; the trains wern't controllable, and the tanks didn't move (seeing as they were actually turrets). And I guess there were a few APCs, but again, you couldn't control them. It's not even possible to make a vehicle that travels along a track and shoots; although Point Of View (great single player mod) managed a tank which moves, and shoots when it stops (this is technically an very well-done illusion in the mapping).
So in short, vehicles are a nono, unless someone wants to attempt NS in the UT2004 engine, or you just WAIT FOR HL2 DAMMIT!
