Voice comm !?!

when you speak with other ppl via VC,is there still that symbol over your head??
i hope not, as every alien will know where i am, if theres a yellow symbol (like in cs) over my head when i'm shouting for help.

As far as I know, you will only see that symbol if one of your teammates is talking.  I don't think I've ever seen the voicecomm sprite appear over the head of one of my enemies.  So you probably don't have anything to worry about <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

Rhoades is right -- only teammates can see the mic symbol and only they can hear you.

speaking of voice sprites, are you guys gonna have yer own custom sprite or the crappy speaker default?

But if u fo want to change it, it' called voiceicon.spr, and it's in you Half life/Valve/sprites directory.

jeah, plz change it for the release. perhaps something that looks better. it can't be that hard to make a little good looking symbol. i mean, even 3 dots would look better than the speaker....

You shouldn't make it too noticeable Relic.

When sv_alltalk is set to 1 on a server ( enable voice comm with all people on the server ), it is possible to see the icon over the enemies.

It is that way with CS servers, but I don't know of NS, maybe coders have changed that.
