SteamStartUp failed with error 108???
I get this error when I try to start NS3.0 through the Steam 'Games' menu.

It was working fine until after I set up a dedicated server for NS. The DS works fine (it's loaded with players as I type this), but I can't get Steam to start any games.

    /chuckle (at 404)

    ummmmm

Your trying ot run a dedicated AND play from the same computer? And the same copy of Steam?

    Thats my guess.

I have never tried to run a dedicated (specialy on Steam), but I owuld guess that you need to copies of steam running, one for the dedicated, and one for you to play on.

    Same computer.
Different set of files. (i.e. DS runs from C:\HLServer, client runs from C:\ProgramFiles\Steam\...)
    Different Steam accounts.
Not too sure about having two different installs of Steam...

I've also found out that I cannot play NS even when the DS is not running.

Another other suggestions, or do I really to have invoke the awesome destructive power of the Delete key?

edit: Awesome destructive power of the Delete key has been invoked. Removed the NSP directory, and reinstalled. Still no fragging yet.

edit 2: After reinstalling NS failed to correct the problem, drastic measures had to be taken...
