And before someone says omg theres so many different ways to do something you can't be wrong blah blah blah I think Next time you feel like being suspended, just ask for it, OK?.
Sure I could outshoot the ppl higher ranked than me but I don't really care. I mean look at lucid he's such a nub with a shotgun sheesh...

Ya, this game is really amazing you get practices and all it is so sweet and you get so much better. It's good for teamwork and many other things. Youc an learn a lot from all the CO's there. Also with your team's private forum you can learn many tips that are posted to help the team.
Yeah, forlorn, its free atm and thats cuz its in beta, it will probably be in beta for a while so you really don't have to worry about paying money. If you don't want to pay anything you can always quit before you have to pay anything whenever it becomes live and not beta.
Only complaint is use of custom maps (last time I played 11th_hour it was atrocious ****), and the fact that ns_mineshaft is a nine point alien world. Oh yeah, that'll be a hard one to win!
If any of you are still wondering what this is, here's the same concept (in fact, run by the same people), except for Desert Combat: http://www.21stcenturywarfare.com/
I joined up with this. It's actually not too bad. But marines do have it on the easier side...
I think this tournament would be a perfect way for Flayra to get some stats on how large games, in a moderately organized setting, play out and he can see the win ratio's to determine balance.
Its really fun having huge battles that last so long and the play is alot more organized than that of a pub server, all we need is more aliens to join to make the battle even better
Okay...First off. Bumping this with approval from Talespin...
The tournament is restarting.. I know alot of people left after the last tournament.. This time we have a new management team.. New marine leaders and new alien leaders. Please give this tournament another chance. If you have signed up in the past when you register goto "renew old account". Oh.. Here is what was posted about the tournament in the NS news.
Battle for the Galaxy is a tournament for the Natural Selection mod taken to an Epic Level. Instead of fighting independently or with a small clan-sized group, participants enlist in a massive force of Marines or Aliens composed of hundreds of players. Each player enlisted only fights on one side (alien or marine) called a "force" for the duration of the campaign, so the destiny of every player in that force rests not only on their own skill, but on the teamwork and commitment of their teammates. Individual battles take place over 12 hour marathon clashes, across multiple servers, during which hundreds of combatants enter the fray and struggle alongside their comrades for as long as they choose. When the battle is over and the smoke clears, the results from all the servers are compiled and the victors secure the region the battle represents.
The tournament incorporates a realistic command structure with Commanding Officers and Alien Leaders. By demonstrating your skill and ability to assist in a team effort, you raise yourself above your peers and become a candidate for being promoted to a leadership position: setting the stage for your climb into the ranks of the upper echelons.

If I wanted to pull my hair for 12 hours I'd go pub
Honestly though just edit it out or something, rather than catch any flak for it. Why should I pay to play this?
You should play because its fun, it gives NS a more epic feel, as territories will change hands (especially if the damn Marines keep winning).
Also with your team's private forum you can learn many tips that are posted to help the team.
I recognize the name, but I can't remember where its from... was it Catch 22?
Just for those of you who are a bit confuzzled =)
