But yeah, I wouldn't be voting Underworld as the best film of all time, but I really did enjoy it. A night out with friends at the major cinema in Manchester, drinking and eating. First there's unlikely romance between the two main protagonists. They met each other twice, barely speaking with each other. Then they kissed? What the hell was that? Everyone's laughing in the theatre when I saw it.
They shamelessly copied the actions and the feelings from the matrix. I knew the Warchovsky bros don't own the copyright to long leathers and sunglasses, but don't deny the resemblance. Worse than that there's an hour long interim they hoped to establish a plot between the two main action sequences, and it just brought tears to my eyes (from yawning).
Well that's the film part.
Now did everyone forget the whole lawsuit fiasco? I read the claim from Whitewolf, and they actually got a case there. What happened?

Underworld was a good movie, plain and simple, much better than some of the crap in theaters these days.
It was Sony's attempt to change around the whitewolf stuff enough not to lose the lawsuit and still maintain the "war between black spiral dancers and Licanthropes" if your a fan of whitewolf you will enjoy the movie.

I really liked this movie, the style, the atmosphere.
SPOILERS!
What I thought was a little strange was that in the end, the main character has a big fight with the bad guy, which is first seen to be on the same side as the protagonist. Then The main character finds out that he's really a bad guy. They fight, the main character slices a sword really fast... wait... then part of the bad guy's face comes off, and we see blood drip off the sword.
Read that very paragraph again, but thinking of Cleric Preston's situation in Equilibrium instead.
