Mapping

Hi I am new to NS. was playing CS before.
I am wondering if you can make costum (home made) maps on NS. and if so in what program and where can i find help for doing them?

BTW: I am looking for an active clan to join. I would say I´m rather good at NS. I can handle: Mapmaking, Webdesign, Moviemaking(for example frag films for NS), Graphics(in 3ds max) Smallcode, and I am learning Flash right now.

you need to go <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showforum=4' target='_blank'>here</a> for mapping and <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showforum=19' target='_blank'>here</a> for model making.

if u ask nicley im sure someone will help u out. but its best to take a good look round first, some of the peeps down there can get a bit annoyed if u ask to many question.

You make NS maps exactly the same way you make any other Half-Life map, ie you use the Hammer editor.

Thx for the help. i didn´t see that there is a mapping section in this forum. was kind of in a hurry <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> and the thing about me looking for clan is just something i mentioned. didn´t wanna make big deal of it.

I belive I´ll hang out in this forum a while.
