I doubt it. I've seen things in magazines that let you listen in on those frequencies, and I can't see many people buying them if they'd get arrested.

My friend once got a Police Radio. After school we tried making contact.

"I've got a 156-60, this is Mother Goose." I don't remember getting anything.

I've got a scanner, and an old book of all the emergency frequencies. Had it for years and years...at least 10.

Heh. When I was a little kid I had these cheapass walkie talkies, however I lived like a block away from the Highway Patrol station and their giant antenna, so I was able to hear the scanner on some days. It was really iffy in that some days the signal was very very strong but others you couldn't hear a thing.

Eventually they changed something w/ the antenna though cause I could no longer hear anything. Or the POS things just broke. :P
