That is an object in a .map file
My challenge is to make a HLDM map using only notepad (or any plain text editor), post it here and see who makes the best map!!!
BTW, the .map format supports comenting C++ Style
so you can do a
//First wall north east ect...[/COLOR]

The ability to modify maps in a text editor can be quite useful - <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=60788' target='_blank'>this map</a> was saved by using notepad where Hammer simply wouldn't open it.

Yes, but the early quake maps, before editors were, well, crap. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Yea, and the map format also works that way too. It's a bit more compilcated, but it works.
Both formats will compile into HL but make sure if you use the 1st 1 that you dont put the parameter mapversion "220" in it
surely that would be a de-compiler?
Could quite possibly be why it decompiles so accurately. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Aka a HLDM map <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Use graph paper and write down locations of verticies as you draw, then type it out in notepad.
EDIT: As for me, HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHHHAHHAHAHHAHHA
I needed that laugh.... HAHAHAHA
No way man.

Or, you could just skip the renaming (have to add the toung smiley now <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->) and open up the .map in notepad instead.
Fair enough
BTW, got a name change <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
