Now this thread has got to be the best one I've ever seen. As retro games guru for Gamitopia, it really warms my heart to see that people still remember and care for those good old classics, and on top of it all manage to make them funny by actually "fusing" them together with NS, one of the greatest games around these days. Ah, the Alien Breed games. I remember the first time i played Alien Breed, and how disappointed I was at its controls and everything (seriously, the game looks a lot more fun than it really is, IMO). But if you really want to check them out, here are some links:

Wow, you guys have actually been successful a\in making me HATE my new computer, (I HATE XP FOR FOR IT'S ATROCIOUS HATE CRIMES AGAINST DOS! I lost interest in trying to get a bootdisk to work... until I saw this thread. I believe you can get some of the Alien Breed games for the PC in DOS format, personally I have Alien Breed Special Edition, Alien Breed 2 and Alien Breed Tower Assualt as Amiga games (Tower Assualt is about 4 disks!).
The Team 17 site has a section on the old games <a href='http://www.team17.com/softography.html' target='_blank'>HERE</a> and there is some info about them on <a href='http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?name=Alien+Breed' target='_blank'>The Underdogs</a>.
They even made a 3D version, which was quite advanced (Roughly similar to Doom).
