I am considering shooting myself. Yet again I get BSE.
Here's the map file, if you can salvage it I'd really appreciate it.
Oh, BTW it's co_rats!!!

I AM SORRY SIR. DO NOT SHOOT ME!
Thanks for the link but it doesn't help me. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
EDIT: Nothing is scaled above 10 and nothing shows up in the errors dialog.

Yea, ick, it needs those models, but of course it compiled fine, BSE isn't a compiling error it's a runtime error generated by HL.exe Also, I've read tommy14's description of it many times, it does not help me.

Seriously? I still get BSE even after removing the Cycler Entities... this is bizarre.

you see I have my STEAM Directory on a G:\ drive and my map files on a J:\ drive and this was confusing the engine, so it didn't load any textures at all and for some reason that showed up as Bad Surface Extents. Ugh, I'm so going to bed now, thanks for the help everyone!!

Bring up the texture tool FIRST, select only the faces you want to change, then click fit. If you try to do it to the top, bottom or sides you are going to blow up the compiler up as it tries to figure out how to fit a 256 pixel texture (subdivided into 2 polygons) into the space of 1 unit...
