Run a server

<div class="IPBDescription">I'd like to contribute</div>I think that i will run a home server off of my home PC, it should be pretty good, if only i can get my hub working in front of my router.  And if i can't i'll get my frienf to run one, he is startig a server company <a href="http://www.omegaservers.d2g.com" target="_blank">Omega Servers</a> please support his buisness, plus all his prices are in Canadian funds he should have it up nad running withing about 2-6 months!

whoa kinda expensive. But... i guese i dont know about all the costs accosiated with running a server but... still seems a bit expensive, unless these are like top top notch servers. Can you also run a web site off them or dont you give ftp access? Just asking.

Hmm... I was considering trying to create a business deal with a server company that'll allow me to have some servers available for Clanfission members, for a fee of course. They would be used for matches, practice, and tournaments. I still have to talk to my constituents about proposed pricing plans if I deem it financially rewarding for both the server operator and myself. If the Omega Servers owner is interested. Please PM me.

Well if i can figure out how to put my HUB in front of my firewalll i will be running my dedicated server as fast as i can, i will probably make it a passworded server so that peeps from the forum can come play without having to put up with "l337 CS h4x0r who is gonna r0x0r j00z" or any spammers or Tards.  If you ever see a server called Scrotor's castle, please Join! <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->

Check out <a href="http://www.efrags.com" target="_blank">www.eFrags.com</a> They have really good pricing, and I think they have a slot open for sponsorship(ie freeserver to good clan) but it will be gone fast.
