but, unless I am mistaken (I never actualy played through MGS <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />) don't you only use 'the box' when your playing as nekid raiden?

The Box is one of the key elements of the Metal Gear series, harkening all the way back to the first game.

Its sad that the only Metal Gear you've played is the worst of the 5. :P

The box would've been better if it was just a plain box that looked like one of the boxes from MGS2 and didn't look like it was a paper bag with "The Box" written on it. Still, it's more than I'd ever do for any game other than Deus Ex (which would be pretty easy for me, anyways) or Halo (much harder; I'd need lots of cardboard, Paster Of Paris, and green paint.). The guard is absolutely genius, I'd never have thought of wearing a plastic exclamation point, but maybe that's just 'cause I just played through MGS2: Substance once and didn't like it that much...

the still-excellent scripting and dialogue helped me love the game as much as i love the rest of the series.

Usually produces either extremely cool or sadly hilarious results, but don't take my word for it:
