It aint in my games list!!

    Copy your "ns" mod folder out of your original halflife directory into "Steam/SteamApps/Your@emailaddress.com/" and paste it there.

    Then in your original halflife directory you will find a file called "fmod.dll" i think. and just paste that into your steam halflife directory.. and then it should show up in your game list.

    Or go on the <a href='http://www.natural-selection.org/downloads.html' target='_blank'>NS.org downloads page</a>, and grab the installer for beta 1, and patch for beta 2. Shut down steam, install beta 1, then install beta 2. If that fails you, go to tech support forums.
