<div class="IPBDescription">Using Offense Chambers</div> I don't know if this has been posted before, because a search for "Hive Defense" brings up many, many pages of topics.
So, I'm not really an alien player, but I had an idea, and I'm fairly sure it works.
You alien players hate us Jet-Packers sitting on your hive and knifing, right? Well, heres your defense:
1. Stay a Skulk.
2. Wall-walk up, and then stand on top of the hive.
3. Gestate to a Gorge.
4. (Use careful planning) Build Offense Chambers all over the top of the Hive.
I tested this (by myself, of course), and I managed to **** about 7 OCs on top of the hive. I don't know if they can shoot down, but this will cause some probelms for Marines.

Yeah, the new ocs work best when spread out (so few blindspots) and usually placed in pairs to give the ground-based marines some trouble. Even just 2 ocs placed randomly in a hive room is useful against a jetpacker, as he will have a hard time dodging both the oc fire and skulks. Wearing down their armor with the ocs doesn't hurt either.
Its nice but I wouldn't overdo it.
