What type of equipment do you need for this kinda of setup, btw? wooow... Cider, those are really really nice. i wish i had a telescope like that. Of course i don't... but i DO have a nice Cannon G2. ^_^ dang. if you lived near me i'd say we should get together sometime and take some nice high-res pictures (like 2272x1704 ^_^). course, your buddy might have a camera that takes pictures at that resolution anyway...

I was looking into getting a 8" or 10" Dobs, how do you like yours? Anything you'd change about it??

umm no not really just the size its a little bulky when moving from difrent locations like in a car but nothing else id seriusly consider geting it....o heres anotheri hope this comes up its kinds big anyway yea i took this from the ground thats how dark it was!

Yes, that is mighty kick arse...I wish I had a telsecope of my own, but seeing that a decent 12 inch dob would be out of my range, due to my lack of ability to move around and the city as it being a craptastic place to look at teh starz, no.

u know a good reflecter with a good light filtering lens might be somthing to look into? i here the really good ones start at like 100? and go from there scince im out here in San Diego i can go down to Mexico and the desert and veiw stars...reall dark out here <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo--> depends really on were u live...actully were do u live? maybe i can help u on finding a scope maybe tell which lens to buy for your area?
