Ns Join Team Textures

Hi i want to make join team textures as the ones below, and i have wally. what are the resolution sizes or options that i have to use to make the textures work?

P.S. I tried before, and the textures crashed half life.

    i converted them into a wad file, i used world craft to make the join team entities with the textures, and when i ran the bsp, it crashed.

    The maximum size you can use is either 256x256 or 512x128 (64K pixels total hard limit for an individual texture, some hardware may have problems with 512x128 images), but I'd recommend going no larger than 256x128 for most of them. Since the marine one is pretty square 256x256 is appropriate.

    I'd crop all of the dead black space from around the images before rescaling-- it looks like you're only using around 20% of that 640x480 area for your aliens pic, and it might fit without needing to be scaled down.

    Stick to powers of 2 (16, 32, 64, 128, 256) for the dimensions or you'll lose a lot of quality when it shows up in-game. Otherwise Cagey's advice is completely correct.
