Can You Figure Out An Alias For This?

I want to make an alias so that if I click my right mouse button it will automatically switch to my #2 weapon, use it once, and then switch to my #1 weapon. Basically I want to be able to blink as a fade and have my slash attack available if needs be, or something similar for a skulk. I hope this is the right place in the forums for this.

originally i was against scripting too, but i've come to realise that with enough practice, you can do anything you can do in a script without one anyway. scripts are a fact of life. be thankful HL doesn't have the scripting capabilities of, say, Tribes, where you could script a window inset that showed the current position of your enemies flag or where they're aiming.

I only use a script since I dont use the ingame voice comm. In stead I bind 1 -6 and some keys arround "W-A-S-D" to standart team chat (enemy near me, im building hive etc...)

I thought about writing scripts for things like this, but then I realised that I'd have to make at least 4 keys or so which I just didn't have space for. So I just use lastinv which is just as quick and much more versatile.

Oh and Anime Tentacle Monster, you're a bit of an idiot really if you think people can be good purely through the use of scripts. Scripts can make a good player a little better but they cannot make a bad player good. If set up properly a leap bite can be done using lastinv with 3 presses of a key or mouse button (press fire whilst on leap, press lastinv to switch back to bite, press fire to bite) which can be done easily within half a second by someone playing the game with their feet.

that would explain it... I have a Mx500 mouse and I want to use al my buttons. btw mouse script doesnt work that well since its ping dependant, its only a nice bonus to use all my buttons...

any idiot can learn how to run around and attack however those that dont feel the need to apply themselves further tend to lean to means less that appropiate.

You people really sound like your talking out your **** here; you say that good players get that extra edge...or in other words take away the challange.

Yes we all know those are bad; I however dont think having the computer do the work for you is much better.

No matter which way you look at it most of these scripts are un fair advantages... and its not "buck up and join the band wagon". Its drop the script and play normally since you all claim they aint that much of a deal you shouldnt be too hard pressed to be rid of them.

and trust me there are plenty of other features you can put on your mouse other than a script.

A Script is an advantage or you wouldnt use it end of story.

Just bind the thumb button or right mouse button to "last used weapon" in the Options menu. Then select slash and then blink. If you need to attack, hit the last used weapon button, attack, and then go back to blinking. Works for me.
