Spectator Mode Question

<div class="IPBDescription">Not a bug?</div> Well I didn't think this was an actual bug. Maybe this was done on purpose or it is only a problem for me.

Ok, my problem is when I go into spectator mode or freelook while dead, the mouse stays a clicker rather than being used to mouselook.
Normally this wouldn't be a problem to me, because if I were to be a spectator I'd just watch first person on someone, and being dead without mouselook is ok since it doesn't take long to respawn.
Now, though, I want to make some demos in NS using the spectator mode for better "camera views?".

So if anyone can help me with this, much appreciation toward you. Thanks.

the problem with freelook is it can be blantently used to cheat...

    eg:
looking to see which hives, what gorges are buildign and where, stuff like that

it should be kept in the game, but as a server option. + i think it should default to work in combat games as its not so much a problem in them.

What about for the spectators in spectator mode/observe match?

They can still look at each player and have freelook, but the problem is that the mouse is a clicker with a cursor rather than what you use to look around.

If anyone has an idea on how to fix this... please do tell <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Doesn't seem to work for me... might be just me, but I tried alot of things and freelook still doesn't work with mouse for me.

Anyone else get this problem? Maybe there is a way to fix it...

I get it too, and Ctrl does nothing. Even if you're a spectator, you have no mouselook and can only move forward/back/left/right in Free Look.

I guess I'll just have to make any demos/movies in previous version.

At least until this is fixed if it will be.
