Combat: Don't Kill The Armoury!

I've just taken NS up again (I left about a month after 2.01 came out throgh boredom), and I've noticed when I play combat that people ALWAYS target the armoury first.
Why do they do this? Everytime I've run into the marine spawn as a skulk when the armoury is still active, I've been able to bag 2 or so humpers before dying, and even people with restock use it, even though the don't need it!

Another thing I don't do in regular games is, if the marines relocate, and you take out their original base, when you kill the comm chair DONT KILL THE COMM! Then he has to either 1) run all the way to whereever they relocated, wasting valuable time, or 2) kill himself, but of course not before hes wasted time trying to shoot you (also is a great waste of time on servers that have suicide delay)
Naturally its very hard to get people not to do this on pubs.
- nonstop adrenalined (!) umbra with lerk
- attacking the armory
- xenociding anything that has at least level 1 defense and a welder behind it.
bah!
2) No ammo = they need resupply or the GLs and anyone who stays alive longer are screwed
3) Marines now lose out on the health packs they recieve while getting ammo.
4) It has less hp so it's easier to kill than the cc.
Although resupply does the job as well, it isn't a 100% guarantee (or at least that's how it is when I play....

Why? I find it especially useful when you have Jetpack. You do not need to gather extra ammo, allowing you to fly much better without the ammo load on you. You keep the same amount every time, and if you get damaged, you can easily heal. You can take down entire hives this way.

It's easily the most useful upgrade.
Never run out of ammo, never have to spend time at the armory, and it heals you. How is that a "HUGE waste?" <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

neg, it doesnt hurt late joiners at all. late joiners wont even get a clip let alone 3 off before being killed by a super skulk or lerk.

Uh, Mojo.. Medpacks take precedence over ammo. Thus a nubcaek flying around the hive through spores getting medpacks for those twelve HP he lost over the course of two seconds will never get ammo.. until he flies away and is healthy long enough for resupply to kick in and give him actual ammo.
