<div class="IPBDescription">and other HL and UT mods</div> To all new players out there (and the pros too <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
Ever since I started gaming I was tuning and customizing my game to fit my needs and give me more control. A big part of this is keybinding, or assigning commands to keys on your keyboard.
However, binding keys isn't all that easy. You need to fiddle around quite a bit, and read some tutorials before you completely figure it out. To aid new players and keep them from having to go through all this I have created this program.
This tool will allow you to easily customize your keybinds for a lot of different games, saving you time and effort.
Currently supported are these games:
Regular WON Half-Life with mods CS, NS, DoD and TFC.
Retail CS.
Steam HL with mods TFC, CS, NS 3.0 (beta) and DoD.
Unreal Tournament with mods TO and DA.
UT2003.
I attached a screenshot of the GUI for your convenience.
You can contact me at savcode_@hotmail.com, or on irc in #naturalselection, I'm often there. Nick is Savage^.

I really like the feature that you can see what key is not binded to a command:)
Are those impulse lists updated now?
Yes, they should be functioning properly now. I have not checked if every single one works in 3.0b but I assume they do.
What's that, you can't bunnyhop script anymore?
Drats.
This is awesome stuff though!
/me updates
[EDIT: I said something too quickly... I tried to configure "nsp" instead of "nsp_french" <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo--> ]
If you have any suggestions I'd like to hear them. I'm currently gathering ideas to implement in the next versions.
I was thinking about adding <ul><li>Alias support</li><li>Support for on key press or release commands (+/-)</li><li>An option to set variables on game startup as well as binding it to a key</li></ul>
Any other ideas are welcome <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

enjoy the keyboard structure you added!!!
keep 'em coming.
Edit:
And it failed the test, my config.cfg is not in read-only, yet still it does not save the changes i made.
Might want to check that out.
Also, when i bind 'leap' to a button, it binds the word 'leap' to a button,
should be an impulse!!
Even though the program writes all configs fine on my box some people seem to be having trouble with it. If you are, could you please specify any details and the OS (and version) you are using, so I can look into it.
Cheers, Savage^

A 'getweapon' or similar prefix is required there, I'll correct this in the next version.
Thanks for reporting that <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
