Brainstorming session
Here's a quick overview of my idea:

We'll create a site that will gather info about community projects and artwork, and pass on word of new updates to be HL news sites (PHL in particular) on a regular basis.

This will hopefully give a gigantic boost to our communities work ethic, and artist will get losts of credits and reviews. A more detailed design doc can be found here.

I think that this is areally great idea. But then, there might be a bit of redundancy here. RR.org already shows off a lot of community work. Of course, a community specific site would be something.

Sounds like a great idea. If you build it, they will come. The more fansites there are, especially one that caters to community contributions, the better. Onward! actually i like this idea, having a site that is community oriented would almost certainly bolster the said...community. Granted, the readyroom already serves as a sort of community "base" as it were already, but i suppose that if what you are suggesting was created, that lots of user-based feedback would flood it and possibly good ideas may come from it. Then again, all of those ideas could be pretty lame, and the site may be forgotten as a useless relic, no offense relic 25! My opinion is that we should have one, but that it should be rather moderated for content, or something like that...

make it, but i think for now the readyroom and phl are just enough..... you can make another comm fansite, but don't do it because there are not enough. The readyroom is official, and will get all the news/info.
You could say it is not community based, but it is. When someone in the community creates something it is posted at rr.org...

Yes, but MonsE only goes to PHL with official team work, not our work. I'm talkin an agressive compaign to get our stuff noticed. I talked it over with MonsE awhile back and he said go for it. I'm just looking for improvments and volunteers.

I think that's a very good idea. We can use as much community material as we can get, and showcasing it may give others inspiration and motivation to produce more. Perhaps we could also do something with any NS clans that pop up following the release?

    The possiblilities are endless.
Did I mention I was recruiting? We'll need to two spots open in the design doc filled.
