Skulk Question

answer it... or else!!!!!!!
Alright, I've seen a lot of posts in this forum talking about "making a skulk walk on walls and ceiling", now.. I've managed the wall part.. but the ceilinng thing never works. Am I just picking the wrong place to do it in, do I need to do something special, or is it not actually possible to walk on the celing?

To walk on a surface, you must walk toward or parallel to that surface. If you walk away from it you will fall. This means that to walk forward on a ceiling you must aim upward.

Alrighty, I figured it out, I was expecting the view to change to an upside down kind of thing, thanks.

A tip that i don't think is well known is to use the Swim-Up and Swim-Down buttons while trying to climb the side walls. Try it. It's useful for peeking up over a change in elevation and parasiting marines.

Are you sure you have to look directly up? Sometimes I find my vision parallel with the ceiling.

parallel or tilted slightly up will do the job...

Parallel is a bit risky because you might find yourself falling off... just come to a complete stop before you look down. Leap is a lifesaver for getting on those ceilings that have crap on the corners that's difficult to climb around (that stupid vent going from purification to vent hive... ggrrrrrr... gorge drop me a welder!)

By the way, welcome to the NS forums Raneados.

YAY! I thought I was the only one who did this! Using swim up to climb walls and ceilings appears to be the easiest option, then press crouch/duck when you want to plummet on a rine's head
