Free Movie Editor

<div class="IPBDescription">....</div> Well, I've got Fraps to make NS "movies", but I have nothing to edit it with.

I do not want to spend money on fancy software that has a large amount of features. I'm just looking for a free or shareware movie editing software that would allow me to add music and maybe do some cutting.

    Try the Adobe Premiere trial? About 100 megs, pretty simple until you wanna do something advanced, I think a new version was just released.

    Got XP? I highly recommend Windows Movie Maker. If you don't want it in a .wmv you can get another program to convert it to avi or divx later.

    Also I keep hearing about one called VirtualDub, but I haven't tried it myself.

    Windows movie maker is really simple to use but it comes with basic stuff.
    I highly recommend to get the addon for it (free) from the microsoft website.
    It adds alot of goodies that should be enough to satisfy your needs

    VirtualDub is more for encoding movies than editing.
