I Need Help Playing

OK. I am getting the 'reliable channel overflow' error. My question is could someone walk me thru the process to get rid of it? i kno that there is a fix webbed above, but i am not sure how to go about follow those insructions. so if someone could just lemme kno how to fix this in terms i can understand (cos im not the most computer savvy), i would appreciate it. if u need more information, just lemme kno.

Go to your NS Steam folder, (Located at 'Steam/SteamApps/youremail/half-life/ns', Although since you've installed the game you allready knew that), and open a file called 'config.cfg' using Notepad. Go to 'File->Save As' and call the file <b>userconfig.cfg</b> and change the bar 'Save as Type' to 'All Files', then save. Now delete everything in the userconfig file and add this line:

<b>alias "ex_maxerrordistance" ""</b>

Now save/close notepad and start up a game; You should play no problem.
