A Tricky Thing To Do

<div class="IPBDescription">Put Together Halo Marine</div> If people want Halo marine, well here it is straight from halo, but in pieces. So it needs to be "Glued" together and then if somebody does that ill try to find its skeleton and try to get the texture files(well i got the textures but, gotta convert em somehow and find the biped). Remember theres about 3 level of details, each piece belongs to one of them. [EDIT] Linkage Removed ok, Cookie has "Glued" the model, i converted the textures(Cookie Pwns), now all we gotta do is assign NS La skeleton..

    It's a nice idea, but the skinmesh has been utterly fubar'd by the conversion.

    edit, and for what it's worth I "glued" it too - it's not as if it's difficult to do. Load in the parts, then hiit "weld"

    3dsmax rules....it can clear skinmesh info.[EDIT]we maybe will release weapon later(notice word MAYBE). Depends totally on Cookie if he wants to do them to.

    Cookie had to do the hard work of reassigning the textures 1 by 1 and assigning the joints so, more of conversion.

    i had to redo the whole skinmesh and im assign the joints as we speak, but i got that lame error again:

    "Bip01 R Foot" has "Bip01 R Calf", reference has "Bip01 R Leg1"
    illegal parent bone replacement in sequence "look_idle"

    its basically got loads of them again,

    can anyone tell me how to fix it?

    edit: hmm, i imported the run.smd and its a deformed blob which moves <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> can someone assign this please?

    well there are other levels of detail for the model but they are to much for HL engine. current one is 1500 polys.

    Hey, what about this: As the model is only 1500 polies, how about add some shine for the armours(Duplicate, scale, add chrome texture, additive)?

    I can export every model and texture from Halo, but putting them together is another thing..me and cookie just need someone to fit the skeleton to the model(including anims), and assign joints.
