<div class="IPBDescription">I didn't want too.... meh</div> Today, in school my english teacher "The swinf dance king" decide to make the class take dance every thursday angainst are own will. AT first i was scared, then angry, then wow this isn't too bad <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->. I still don't like to dance the jiter bug or sussy Q. Meh.. its free points 100 bonus point for ever dance outside school i go to. Mean, i could fail the class and still get an A. First time i saw F = A in school. After learning some moves then grabing my girl and dancing about the room wiht everyone else it wasn't as bad as i though it would be.

(Still thursdays are going to suck, but we get to meet the creator of swinging Frank manning.)

    Haha, if thats bad then i think i better kill myself now. I got to dance with every girl in the class, the men stud in a circle and after each dance we passed um to the next man.

    (it was hard some of the chicks where bigger then i was and dancing with them was a pain, but it was "interesting")

    I had to dance once... but I didn't and never did since. I Liquid a bit, but the music's never right for it and whatnot.

    Dancing sucks(If you don't know how) and DDR doesn't teach you how to. You're not even dancing when you play that game.

    Dancing is so stupid. Just think about it, people just move around to sounds....WTH?     I don't care if I do or don't know how to dance, I just get up and have fun. Sure I'm going to look like an idiot, who cares? And swinging looks hard. Only thing I can do with a little bit of talent is the robot. Sure it's outdated but can YOU do it?

    What about the poor geeky kids that have no coordination and have the consistency of a wet noodle and thus not being able to dance (IE, ME!)?

    if you have to actually ask what the point of dancing is then you'll probably never get it. It's one of those 'fun' things where you enjoy yourself.
    dancing: "omg whats so fun about moving around to sound"
    games: "omg whats so fun about pressing keys that make pictures on a screen change"

    DDR's not supposed to teach you dance liku, but you CAN dance on them and it helps teach you rhythm and timing =3

    No....I guess I get the point of dancing. I don't get the point of using school funding to teach it in school. It's just another easy-grade class for lazy kids who don't wanna do any real work.

    Yea, you never said anything about Home Ec. I think that's a pretty useless class other than eating great food and technically skipping a period of work.

    home ec... always made a mess of my workspace (especially that time the top came off the flour) but turns out I'm actually a really good cook when I try =o
    My parents never got to try anything because I'd usually eat what I'd made over the course of the day instead of lunch ^^

    Because the discussion isn't about home ec, Bizzy. I beleive home ec is a waste too. Hell, wood shop requires little effort too. Computer classes? Complete nap period except for Johnny Slack-jaw.

    Hell, almost every part of school is useless. It's one big meeting ground for stupid, annoying teenagers who get rewarded by slacking off because they chose the right classes.

    well aren't you a sunny lil bundle of joy =P

    school's supposed to be as much about development as education; PE is to try and keep you in shape (excercise; the thing your PC doesn't give you), home ec is to teach you to make your own food and give you confidence in the kitchen. Some classes are a chance to get together with like-minded people... sure the idea actually works better in university/college but that's because a lot of people have grown out of being brats by then and the rest who haven't usually go off and do something else rather than further education.

    but a year or so after i left school, i wished i could go back do it all again and <u>listen</u> this time
