theese maps are nice in those pics, but I'm used to CS maps so it's been a while since I've seen a nice map

well, some CS maps are done really good, like torn, personally i think that has one of the best architecture in any CS map

Torn is definitely wonderful. It's maker, Crinity, was the first NS mapper. He got really busy really fast though, so we decided to cut things off. I'm still hoping he'll come back and do an NS map for us after v1.0 though.

well, i see a lot of old cs talent here. we seem to be a pretty small group of mappers for NS right now, but at least everyone has skill.

Yeah... everyone has talent... that's right... *me whistles innocently and goes back to silly WC*

At least Merk has talent w00t w00t. And those other people too, I guess (j/k&#33

The CS mapping community has the largest amount of talented mappers, just because it's by far the largest mapping community. There are lots of morons there though, like newbies who can't take critisism, and think that their first map is perfect. I am pretty active in the cs.net mapping forums, even though I've stopped mapping for CS.

i see it as the cs mapping community had the largest amount of talented mappers. i think 90% of the talent split off at somepoint last year. i've been playing cs and mapping for it since the day it came out, and ive followed some of those mappers. anyway, to stick to the subject of ns, except for a few newbies on the forums recently, i dont think i have ever seen a mod with so many dedicated mappers. perhaps this will be the first mod that i map for that actually carries through!
