Cant Find/join Servers

can you be a bit more specific?

do you want to play 2.0 or 3.0? Are you using ingame/Steam or 3er person (HLSW / ASE) Server Browsers?

restart your computer

You might be connected to a dead steam server, restarting your comp might fix that.

i haven't tried it myself, but i heard it's very buggy. Why not play 2.0 via won (or 3.0 via Steam if you have beta access) ?

i cant play through won, because i dont have half-life without steam, i have counter-strike retail and was not required to install halflife

Also you can play ussing WON, seeing how as CSR alows you to install mods (I wouldn't suggest it b/c you will eventualy HAVE to use steam)
