Help! Rcbot1.2 Bot's Keep Dieing?

Hello, I downloaded rcbot.12 that has support for NS. The bot's spawn, but never make it to the control room? they keep dieing? They spawn, but never give me any challenge? I am on a LAN, to learn the game.
I am picking it up but, I would like to make the bots more challenging. I am using the standalone, rcbot .1.2
It supports standalone. windows platform.
Do I have to give them all waypoints? should I use something else besides rcbot1.2?
Any help will be appreciated!!!
