I have a Favorites thingy for the NS OT forum, and when I use it to get here I get popup ads for the XCam and whatnot! Definately no spyware because I used PestPatrol, Adaware 6.0, and RegSupreme. Those all put together removed every bit of spyware on my computer. So that cant be whats doing this.

Is it supposed to be like this? Or something? Or what? Im confused XD

    Hmm, I use Opera and never get any ads. I just tried going here with the latest version of IE and I still didn't get any pop-ups. Strange.

    Do you have Musicmatch Jukebox? If so, thats why. Uninstall it.

    This hasn't happened to me really, but it has happened 2 or 3 times though. The ads are weird also...like for the XCam like Xero said.

    Another possibility is gettin pop-up ads after LEAVING a pop-up site, even when going to another site.

    No, I get them when I go here from a folder (theres a favorites button on the top of folders so you can integrate IE with the folders, neat.)

    Apparently not if you're getting popup ads. This site doesn't do them. It simply doesn't.

    Did you use spy bot search and destroy? Is supposedly on of the better ones and catches 99% of all Spyware.

    I have that, and I dont get any extra pop ups from it.

    maybe because i have the liscenced version (it came installed on my PC)?

    You have spyware. I recommend <a href='http://security.kolla.de' target='_blank'>Spybot S&D</a>. It's much better than those other scanners put together, and it can't hurt to have another opinion.
