perhaps try to find a small server with little ppl on and tell them that you are quite new
if you have luck they will help you. on a big server it is quite unpersonal and help could annoy the rest of the team
you could also pm me and we could play on our pw-server with my nice clanmates <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
As many have said, just keep at it. A few things to keep in mind are:
As a marine:
-Stay still while shooting at a skulk to maximise your own, but once he's in biting range, run and jump around like forest gump!
-Maximise your distance from the enemy, i.e, always stay in the corner opposite the door/vent which you're expecting them to come from
As a skulk:
-Never just charge blindly down a long coridoor, that's a surefire way to die
-Most of your kills as a skulk will come from sneak attacks, i.e, from behind/above/behind a corner, being in the right place at the right time is a skill in itself
-Once you're up close, don't just bite wildly, sometimes it's best to back off a little and locate your prey again.
