Presents!!!
So some people already have their presents and stuff opened, some people have for a while, so I figured I'd make a topic for em. If anyone got any presents of interest, share em with the world and make us jealous of what you got!! As for me, I didn't get much this year, my mom got me some books (the new Al Franken and Micheal Moore of course!) but I got a few gifts of interest, so I decided to post pics of em. In this first one we see what my girlfriend and my sister got me, the kitty plushie on the left is from me girlfriend, and the two dolls, Vannessa (she may look like an apple but is actually a grown woman) and Dewy, are from my sis. they cost 48 cents! (oh I got more after this)

This one here is a present from a friend of mine named Jon, I gave him a zombie movie, so then he gave me one, but I was more interested in the wrapping. In case you're wondering, yes that is John Ritter with a revolver and me. I'm saying "Oh my god! Are you John Ritter?" and he's saying "I don't care n'more!!" and there's a crosshair on my face. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG story.

And this here is the present I gave to myself: NEW SPEAKERS! I bought em off a couple old hippies and hooked em up today with an old deck I found in my basement. They are very nice. So let this be a lesson to you: if you ever see things at a yard sale of old hippies, buy the stuff, cuz it's good. Notice that Dewy and Vanessa have taken up residence on the speaker to the right.

GameCube
The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Disc
64MB GCN Memory Card

Something else from a friend, but she says it's not done... hmm...

well... my parents gave me the money I spent on the PS2 and stuff so they could give me it as a pressie (which I was kinda thankful for because it meant I could go buy even more presents for everyone before xmas ^^). Basically, this is the grand total so far...

- Silver PS2 + memory card + Guilty Gear XX ( I want a sakura one but they're only available in japan... sakura as in the name of the design, not as in like card captor =3 )

- £270

- Lots of Terry's Chocolate Orange-based stuff (2 TCOs and a box of segments... probably last me a few months mmmm... XD )

- 2 books my parents always told me were great but I never got around to reading (Michael Moorecock - Hawkmoon and Elric of something or other)

- The latest James Herbert Novel. Don't remember the name but he's a good writer so

- Chinese Calligraphy set. I'm more a japanese fan, but considering the tools are the same and a lot of kanji come from chinese characters, it's all good ^^

- A projector clock... because I'm hopeless with keeping track of time and getting up.

- 4 DVDs; Near Dark (great vampire flick with lance henrikson and bill paxton in it =D), Dog Soldiers (not seen it yet), 28 days later (waii!) and some weird random thing my parents thought I might like called 'faces of death'. None of us know what it actually is (my parents buy me stuff they don't know anything about; go figure =3 ) but I've got the sneaking suspicion it's not what they were thinking it was. Banned in several countries or something. I love tacky horror movies but reading the back it sounds more like a collection of real-life footage of people dying in horrible ways.

- A Wooden Skull. Nope... I'm not a goth or anything but skulls have always been something I've liked ever since I was little for some reason or other. Overly-energetic, cheery person who always likes a giggle and secretely loves skulls; that's me
Mr Skull's also got a hollow head so I'm currently using him to store my moneys ^^

- New Jeans, top and booties. I love my booties... I suppose they're more like shoes but they look kinda like Calamity Jane boots, yee-haw =D

I spent time with my Girlfriend, got a few clothes from the relatives and got cut off from the family (which has been building up to this point for weeks, all over my Girlfriend, GG).

Best Christmas EVER.

Oh I seem to remember that I got $20 NZ too. I might be able to buy my own banana republic with it if I'm lucky.

Well, I didn't get much this year because the gifts I got were expensive. I love them, though. I got:

Executive swivel chair: $120. (Really neat, it spins, rolls, goes up and down and the seat leans back. It's 3 inches of padding on the seat and on the back, which is covered in beautiful black leather.)
Two Japanese rice bowls + 2 sets of chopsticks: $50 (These are awesome, too. The chopsticks are made of oak, the bowls have a green glaze on the inside that have Japanese letters written in them.)
Fuzzy slippers: $20. (Not much to say. They're fuzzy and warm. Mmm.)

And on boxing day, I'm getting a either a Radeon 9700 or a Radeon 9600, depending on what's in stock.

Also, KylieGirl: Cute kitty! And those pants rock. (EDIT: She removed the original pictures, for any confused people.)
