Your post, fantasmo, was the most classy and respectful post I have ever seen. You're implying that because he's not so respectful, we can treat him like ****, correct? Guess what, an eye for an eye makes the world blind.
For all of you who feel that this post is <i>illigitimate (sp) conversation</i>, good for you. Informing us of them is a good way to make yourself look stupid. That means you, Fantasmo, Vitto, Testament, Aaron, Mr. Ben, Mojo, and anyone else who would seek to hurt Xero with what you think of his topic. If you don't like the post, hit the freaking back button and never click on it again. For that matter, if you don't like these goodbye posts, then you shouldn't have clicked on a thread that said "I Quit Ns." Perhaps you were just looking for someone to flame?

its true tho, NS is built on a old, ancient engine. Anyone who played Call of Duty and will see the much newer engines will painfully be aware of HL's limitations. But still a salute for it, but it should be put down. Hopefully NS and the other mods will be ported to the HL2 engine and we can only hope.

I personally don't understand why anyone would quit because "it's boring". I mean come on, there are more people playing CS right now than ALL other games combined. You telling me that every cs match is new, different and exciting? I love NS, and for him to say he quits cause it bores him is HIS problem and a flame on the game I love the most. Now to the topic at hand. The very same has happened to me back in the dark ages of 1.0x. Twice, as a matter of fact. I solved them by just going on hiatus for a month or three at a time. Trust me - stay ns-celibate for a little while and you'll find that you want to desperately play once again. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> A break is a good thing - it helps much and lets you sort out what you really want to do.
Its strange, whatever games I play for however long I always seem to go back to cs, I've been playing cs for 3 years now, and it gets boring at times, but thats when I go and play NS.
I think the reason people stop playing ns is because they get to a maximum skill level, either because they stop focusing on the game or start playing by muscle memory too much.
