<div class="IPBDescription">How to reduce r_speeds with hint brushes</div> I was wondering how to reduce r_speeds with the use of hint brushes? Placement, wheres, why hows, to, and whats etc.

My map has the problem of architechture that it currently is not seeing, I supposed this may be down to the design, but if hint brushes could be used, where would you put them in the pic? How big, wide etc?

    Sorry, nothing to answer about the hintbrush but i've got a litte question.
    How did you use the gl_wireframe's commande with NS 2.0 (or 2.1?)? Can you tell me the exact command line for the shorcut's properties?
    Cause when i use a different shortcut (or loading the map from the console), i got this message:
    <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->PF_WriteCoord_I called with no active message<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    And the game return to windows...

    Here is my shortcut: C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -game ns -noipx -nointro -console -dev +sv_cheats 1 +map mamap

    I know that, but when i type it ingame, i got : can set gl_wireframe in multiplayer (or something like this).

    i would like to know what do you type before, what shortcut are you using, or how do you launch your map not in "multiplayer mode"? (err.. escuse my english)

    PS: with ns1.04 i didn't had this problem, the gl_wireframe was working perfectly

    Your problem is that your starting a lan game and not a single palyer ns game. When you start ns don't click on multiplayer click on console, the type "map ns_wahchamacallit" and the it should work finr.

    yes but if i do that, i've got:
    <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->PF_WriteCoord_I called with no active message<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    I will download ns2.1 server side, maybe it will be working..

    Remove NS related entities from your map and compile as half-life single player map. Now you should be able to use the wireframe command and view everything, exept I forgot what you have to name the map so that it comes up when u start a single player game. Anyone?

    For the "Start new game" option, c0a0.
    For the "Hazard course" option, t0a0.
    Or you could just type "map ns_yourmap" into the console. You don't even need to remove the ns entities; they jsut won't show up in a standard HL server (you will get a load of "Can't init xxx" messages, though).
