The T2K <a href='http://www.thrill2kill.com/wip/wip.shtml' target='_blank'>work in progress</a> section is now up and we are accepting schtuff
Have a model sitting on your hard-drive but it's not finished? Need anything from skin meshing to animations before it can be used in game? Phear not, it doesn't have to sit on your hard drive only to be revived later.
When it's up at Thrill 2 Kill, anyone surfing the website can take notice and if they like it, and have the ability, they may be able to take it to the next step!
You can make a new topic and upload the files in the WIP section of the <a href='http://www.thrill2kill.com/forums/' target='_blank'>Thrill 2 Kill Forums</a> at any time, and the website will be updated once a week with the new additions.
You must, however, follow the proper format. When you make the topic, we'll need:
-A .zip file of the model and any other appropriate files that go with it
-A "Readme" file with YOUR screenname and a working email address in it so we can use it for credits. It must also have the name, description of the model/sprite/whatever, and the polycount if applicable.
-A .jpg picture of the model that you want to use as the preview picture.
That should be it! After I read the topic, the website should be updated within the week. If at any time you wish the model to be taken down, PM me or another moderator and it will be removed. If someone decides to take your model to the next step, you will be notified by that person.
So far, I have a bunch of my stuff up there so you can see how it'll work!
Peace-
Burncycle

Guess he beat me to it.
...i've been planning this since burncycle set up his site...
sorry if i "beat you to it" but i didn't remember you saying you were going to put it up on your site.
look around at the people that "fly the T2K flag" and see what they are doing...
Bijiy ---> drawing up concepts, for me and burn to model
Burncycle --> he's running the WIP section of the site... which is what this post is about
CoolCookieCooks ---> he's meshing and skinning the models in the WIP section
Sparda ---> he's skinning some of the WIP models
Delarosa ---> the evil overload of it all, who is learning to animate and mesh to help the process along.
also, Daza400 and Mr.Headcrab suporting the cause with exclusive models and working on the marine section of the site.
ant let us not forget all the people that donated money to get us up and running again.
anyway, to make it "known" i'm working on getting a DoD section and a CS section up sometime in the future... and i'm still looking for people to help me along with the NS mapping section (for reviews and custom map hosting)
and that "file index" that you guys have always wondered about... might be up sometime in the short future if i learn php... it's a specially designed page for returning visitors to "skip" those pop-ups... mouse over a name, have it show a small preview image... click the name, and start downloading the Zip file... great for those people that don't want to open 5-6 popups to get all the files they want.

mhm.... don't forget: your low-poly marine still needs a proper skin! <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->
