<div class="IPBDescription">Don't work for me.</div> When I made a new notepad called userconfig and put in it ex_maxerrordistance to fix my reliable channel overflowing all it did was flood my console saying that ex_maxerrordistance was not a command. Is there a way to get rid of this? I have tried a search. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> And it still overflows.

You may experience an overflow error, or an error relating to the command "ex_maxerrordistance." If you do, add the following line to "userconfig.cfg" in your NS directory (if it is not there, create it):
alias "ex_maxerrordistance" ""<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
right now its trying to call a nonexistant proceedure
or temporarily disabling automatic updates while you're playing NS?
1.) browse to your ns folder
2.) copy "config", then paste it in the same folder
3.) rename "copy of config" to "userconfig"
4.) open "userconfig" using notepad, then delete its contents and add...
alias "ex_maxerrordistance" ""
5.) save changes and start steam again.
