Steam Lagging

<div class="IPBDescription">All of my games</div> For some reason steam gives me a steady 2000-4000 ping in any mod no matter what. All of the server's listed say 1000+ ping, and I know that can't be right. Also, this never happened in Won, so I am sure it is steam related. I tried posting this at the steam forums but no one responded.
