<div class="IPBDescription">Something about res nodes</div> alright it is me again... Just wondering but is it even possible to do this...
You have an installation where the marines have been working at for a while with constant alien attacks. They marines have res towers (other than the one at base) that are built around their base but they are badly damaged from the alien attacks. Is it possible to put res towers that are damaged?
And to balance this out, the aliens would also have res towers up since they have been there for a while as well.
Sort of a different concept, just wondering if it would work... this isn't too thoroughly thought out but I'm just wondering if it is a good idea/if it is possible to even do.

"is it possible to place *item* in my map?" thats the point where ns is too strict. the version 1.0 and 2.0 doesnt allow "preplacement" but 3.0 will feature it.
so we all will hve more freedom to create a unique feeling within the map and add loads of atmosphere.
"we are gonna die down here." - "no. we are getting out. all of us..."

Wow, I had no idea you could place resource towers with the 3.0 fdg, I thought it was only the other structures. And then you could probably damagethe resource towers with timed trigger_hurt's (not sure if it works on structures), but the idea should be possible after 3.0 is released.
