As stated many times before, fire in bursts. Dont start unloading under pressure, keep a steady burst fluent at all times.

Be sure to take into account of the jumping skulks. Most skulks make a jump or two at you before they attack. They do this to avoid bullets and make you waste ammo. When you run out of LMG bullets on a single skulk, don't reload and pull out the pistol immediatly. Then pop off two rounds a taime at the skulk. Because of it's damage, the skulks proximity to you and it's accuracy, if done right, you will kill the skulk, be alive and can reload the LMG.
I agree about not humpin the armory. But tons of servers you see ppl inCombat or even in classic all around the armory and it pisses me off. So I just leave and go on myself to scout for RTS. Its better then just TRYING to defend the main base with a bunch of noobs
The whole point of bursting comes from games in which accuracy degenerates over time (ie CS). In NS, your accuracy is the same at all times, no matter what.
Every time you see the target, you have an equal chance of hitting it. Therefore, since the enemy can close distance FAST, you should be firing at all times you can see the enemy (even when the enemy is strafing back and forth from cover).
You can't afford to waste time when the enemy is closing distance. Distance is more important than ammo.
But it takes a good amount of time to reload, and in a second or two, that skulk will be at your heels, biting your bloody ankles off!
You fire in bursts because you waste ammo holding the trigger down. This works okay with HMG because of it's high clip capacity, but with LMGs, accuracy is vital.
LMG is awsome! Hehe, you can kill 3 skulks without reloading (if you are CAREFUL) then finish another with the pistol, and gut the other on your knife!
I like to fill up to about 200 ammo, and full clip pistol. but I usualy use it all. If your a good player, and you run outa ammo if you don't get anythign at armory, then by all means, pack an extra 50. still running out? get another. do this till you are so good you run out with full ammos and clips
If you suck please run out and use your 50.
As commander, I don't get **** off at armory humpers. unless they suck. if my team is sucking, I tell em to stop humping. they usualy follow. If they don't I drop my arms lab, and obs. and sell my armory. it usualy fixes the problem. And no that ammo packs only cost 1 rez now. I just give ammo packs out instead if the player needs it. And wont build an armory at the begging till I get 3 more rez nodes.
