Connecting Problem...

I installed 3.0c and it works fine but it screwed over my non-steam half-life...
NS2.0 wont connect at all now, everytime I try to connect, it freezes and it wont close at all (I have to reboot everytime)
I tried reinstalling half-life and ns, no luck

Are you joining using console. If you arent try joining using console. Does ns 3.0c work? Is it giving you any error messages.

3.0c works fine, I do connect through console, its not just ns2.0 that doesnt work, its all the hl mods not on steam, no error message comes up

I reformatted, installed hl, ns, and steam, and same problem is occuring...
