Trying again...
Well, I didnt really like where my previous project was headed, so I decided to start again, under the same name. Here are three screens from my new NS_Galileo -- I am NOT done with this room, that's why some walls look a little bare, but just let me know if it feels like it might have potential.

Wow, I talk alot. Anyway, here goes...

*edit* Btw, the first shot's a little grainy cause it was too big to upload otherwise...

i like it although i see it a bit squary. also, i like the textures, and the lighting, but try to add some more diversity to that floor.

yeah. my same opinion... you know if there was a floor pannel that had been removed and that shows the wiring and pipes and other things would be a good change in, uh... the floor.

Are those beams visable from commander mode? If they were it would be really annoying.

It looks very white, I take it this is the marine friendly part of the map.

    Chromeangel: Nope and yep

Don't worry, those beams are func_seethroughs. And yes, this is the marine side of the map, the marine base to be exact (I haven't built the spawn yet, but it'll connect direct to this room). That's one of the reasons I'm a little reluctant to put a whole bunch of stuff on the floor, since they need building room, but I guess it's a big space anyway.

Also, I imagined that this would be a cargo storage / loading / dropoff area, and it would be a little impractical to put a big set of stairs or something right in the middle, but I'll see.

Well, you have the great NS textures to thank for that, not me.

Looks very cool, reminds me of Stalwart in UT. The textures are nicely added on the polygons which gives it a detailed look.
