What Is With Koreans And Games?

Their attitude.
NOTE : I do not hate or dislike koreans.I am not a racist.I have nothing against koreans.

Now this has been bugging me for a while.Koreans + Games seem to result in well lameness.

Now how did i arrive at this conclusion.....

In that version before DOD v1.0,i got banned from 3 korean servers for having a high score + high kill:death ratio. Now of course, they didnt SAY it,well partly because they barely speak english, they kept babbling korean stuff, but 1 thing was clear..the word "Hunter" + "Cheat".Of course i tried to explain to me that i was not cheating, but words fell on deaf ears.It didnt help that in one server, the admin was MGing people through walls in that map with the 3 man plaza cap point.

Red alert 2 - I played dozens of games in the pacific serveR(WAY back, before the idiots in charge muted the chatrooms),where koreans proceeded to sabotage the game in a few interesting ways.

-Proceeded to tell the enemy exactly what i was doing. In open chat no less.Enoguh english words were interposed that i could guess what they were saying.

-Built nucleur reactors inside my bases and quit. Now in red alert 2,when you quit, all your buildings and units go kaboom.Guess what happens?Yep the nucleur reactors go kaboom, and wipe out my base.

-Refused to ally with me,and proceeded to team up with his friends in a 3 vs 1.When they inevitably won, they would keep boasting non-stop with lots of koreans words and the usual "you suck" stuff.

-Quit game immediately after it has started.Do you know how annoying it is when this happens 4 times in a row with different people?

-Proceeded to cheat blatantly.Lets just say...chem trooper nuke cheat for instance.

-Blow up the bridge in hammer and sickle....when all my tanks were moving across it.

-Force attack my units/buildings while still allied.

-Proceed to turtle like crazy as France.Do you know how difficult it is to kill turtles with grand canons on high elevations?Particularly when they are map-hacking so sneaking in and blowing powerplants is impossible?

-Flout my custom rules.Due to red alert 2's "awesome" game balance(dolphins in large numbers > subs/destroyers,apoc tanks are useless, prism tanks in large numbers destroy anything before they get into range,v3s are nearly useless, kirovs are useless, etc),i was forced to put in rules that were based on trust.Such as no dolphins,no mass rockeeters/prism tanks in money maps

Then not to mention the oh 5 or so korean TFC servers ive joined, where players were shooting their teammates to deduct armor(usually with charged sniper rifle or rockets,or explosives),and the admin who was present in the server either did nothing,or was participating in it.Or people blocking spawn doors.

And TS....on TM maps, the only korean server in TS,it nearly always ends up 8 vs 2 or some crap(not joking, got too many screenshots of it),i would be screaming for teams, and EVERYONE would be ignoring me.Then we got people using MAC-10.In DM,1/4th the server is using M4A1/AK47.Then we got people whoring kung fu/katana...that would be 1/2th of the server. The english speakers even tried to argue that a 2 hit kill,3 frag per kill, long range(for melee in HL),and disarm on the first hit weapon is not unbalanced, and would not stop bitching about me killing them with say....single socom.

Its late.Got more.BBL.

ur right... I TOO HAVE NOTHING AGAINST KOREANS (besides north koreans because theye're next on the coalition's hit list)

i got banned from a load of eastern C&C generals servers because i liked to use 100's of troops against a base instead of tech rushing with paladins and apaches

That has nothing to do with Koreans. Try going on any public CS server, and you'll get the same thing. Thats why you look for good places to play.

You've been pwned and nubbed by nubs!

I thought this was gonna be about the terrible engrish in games like Gunbound and Ragnarok Online

Heh, I thought it was going to be about the gamers who memorize every facet of the game and beat it in a few minutes, and how he envied that ability - as well as pitied the people who accomplished such a feat.

As for the red alert tactics like blowing up the bridge when your forces are on it? Sounds like a good tactic to me. Same with the avoidance of the grand cannon thingy.

In terms of the FPS ive seen nubaek crap like (not playing on server rules, ignoring admin, not evening teams) on that in countless german, english, american servers as well.

But yea, you are aware of the fact that South Korea has a trade embargo with Japan so South koreans dont have sega, nintendos and other consoles like playstations.

b/c they are all PC gamers and never had consoles but sales fell through b/c the controllers were too big for the standard asian kids hands . And so it never really became popular.

PC games have become immensly popular. More copies of StarCraft were sold in SK then in the US. In fact the world PC game Olympics are held in the capital of SK.

Dont feel bad about them finding devilish tacts in stratedgy games, like the Americans aways take the gold in FPSers the South koreans always take first in RTS games.
RTS games are a past time over there.

as for people being noobs with servers, admins and rules, ive seen that same crap with so many people from any country its pathetic, Since my primary language is English I play in mostly US/UK servers I cant tell you how many times some idiot cocky player in american servers. or anywhere else.
