I'm with my friends
But not really
They are all here
But I'm not

Their laughter
Mindless chatter
Rolls over my head
Dissolves into the air

Their smiles mean nothing
Their presence means nothing
I'm still alone

I shiver
But no one offers me a jacket
No one notices the draft
They don't feel what I feel

They can't reach me
Their happiness can't penetrate my bubble of isolation

Why can't I reach out?
Why can't I touch someone?
Why am I alone?

Each smile, word, that I'm not a part of...
A paper cut on my heart appears
Gushing blood from the inside
A wound that gorges can't heal
A pain that will never leave

Crying is not an option
Crying can't erase loneliness
It only feeds the fact that no one will notice
What good is an aching heart worn from tears

People running about
Walking around me
Through me
Why can't they feel me?

I wish that someone would notice
My hurt....
My pain....
My existence....

No matter how many people there are
I'm always alone
No one to comfort me
The forgotten chamber

Sensories should always be placed at the start

They have a bad rap and dont get much love
they're shot at, knifed and sieged from above

All they want is a friend, some res to up soak

next time someone asks what chamber is first
