<div class="IPBDescription">how to do that ?</div> How to make that cool blue waves like that ones that appears around the random team?

I would like something near that to a room in my map...

I'm also thinking about eletrycity, but make something that glows and fades out I think that would look better..

I can't manage to make that "fading wave" using that function (I have already used it before to make the eletric appearance - like in ns_eclipse)

    tips ?

btw, there is any way to get (just for learning) the textures from ns_origin ? they look as included in the bsp file...

the new maps of ns 2.x had alot of there tex wad included, though if u look through ns2.wad you will find most of them

the random team is a funk_conv, and uses scroll_fade (typo)

as far as i know the only difference between teh two is teh texture.
i assumed that the texture used was in fact scrollred instead of the arc texture.
i am almost positive that is what you are looking for. all yuo need is teh texture,
which i dont find in teh ns.wad or ns2.wad

i dont know the wad file, as i put every wad file for ns that i have inot a 67mb wad, that i wad include, it helps the to many wads issue in hammer, and lets me have a large selection of textuers - it would be in one of the offical map wads though

Some of the ns_origin custom textures are part of my <a href='http://www.box7.co.uk/ns/v_wad.zip' target='_blank'>v_wad</a> texture pack.

I believe the texture you want is scroll_v_blue.

    /Fires up QuArK
    /Loads ns_origin.bsp
    /Examines readyroom
    /Finds the following:
    Texture name: scrollblue
.wad file containing that texture: Tough luck, it's wadincluded. Shouldn't be too hard to create yourself though.
    Texture scale: 5 by 8
    Entity used: func_conveyor
    speed: 150
    additive
    renderamt 120

(You do not have to keep all of the textures inside the wad, as long as there is credit given. Its a big enough wad, and some poor souls still have 56K.) Sending an email to fam@box7.co.uk with a link to the map would be grand too.

These textures must only be used for Natural Selection purposes.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
