<div class="IPBDescription">damn SAT's interupting my MAPPING!</div> Okay i'd like to have some of that electricity goin around my generator like on ns_elipse, ns_hera (in maintinance) ect. NO IDEA how. Potential walkthrough?
Also in VHE is 128x128 like BIG in game? Textures are 256x256 for halls and i thought an onos was 128 high. Or was that wide?
On a side note SOMEONE has a beta map out using a room that is MINE. MY cool unique idea that i told a few people about. Meany head!

2. 128x128 isn't too big, 512x512 is big. The reaseon almost all textures are 256x256 because that is the biggest size half-life can handle, so you need big textures to get specific details. 256x256 is also a pretty good size for hallways, when was the last time you saw a halway that an onos can just get through.
As for the sizes:
Skulk, lerk, gorge, crouched marine, crouched fade: 32 32 36
Marine, fade, (crouched onos): 32 32 72
Onos: 64 64 108
But these are just the clipbox sizes a real onos is bigger.
3. Who, and what map? Two people can have the same idea.
The map I saw it on was "ns_andromeda_beta3" or soemthing like that (found at punkassfraggers.com). It has a tree, a creek/water way with a vent in it and a bridge going over it and a bench. Just like i told those people.
Its a fairly basic version of the room I have been planning, and started on 6 days before I saw the map, but it is essentially the same. My only problem with it is with many maps there is one cool feature/room on it that people can easily identify and I was hoping my Atrium room to be that for my map, but I guess it might not be anymore unless I make it 100 times better and even then people might think I stole the idea.
